ACDelco traces back to United Motors, a group of parts makers brought together in 1916 that later became part of General Motors. The ACDelco name itself dates from 1974. It is the label on GM's own replacement parts, from spark plugs to batteries. In the Middle East the batteries are produced in Saudi Arabia by Middle East Battery Company, so the ones sold in Dubai are made in a neighbouring country, not on the other side of an ocean.

Is ACDelco the original battery in my Chevrolet or GMC?

What happens if my ACDelco fails inside the warranty?
