Check where it is parked
A technician comes to your parking in JBR, tests the bite point and pedal, looks for fluid leaks at the master and slave cylinders and confirms it is the clutch.
Collection and repair
If the car still drives, it is driven to the partner workshop. If the clutch has gone completely, it travels on a recovery truck. The gearbox comes out and the new kit goes in.
Road test and return
The hydraulics are bled, the car is road tested through all gears and brought back to your building. You get the old parts back if you ask for them.
Good to know in JBR

Clutch replacement: common questions
Can my car be driven to the workshop with a slipping clutch?
Usually yes, for a short trip, if it still pulls in the low gears. If it will not move, or the pedal stays on the floor, do not force it. We send a recovery truck instead, because a clutch that lets go in traffic leaves you stranded on the road.
Does the flywheel always need replacing with the clutch?
No. A solid flywheel in good condition can be resurfaced or reused. A dual-mass flywheel is checked for play and rattle, and replaced only if it is outside the limits. The workshop shows you the part before any extra work is agreed.
How long does a clutch replacement take?
Many front-wheel-drive cars are done in a working day once the parts are in hand. Four-wheel-drive vehicles and cars where a subframe has to be dropped take longer. We tell you the expected return time on WhatsApp before the car is collected.
