Car detailing is a deep clean and restoration of the paint and interior, well beyond a normal wash. In JBR, interior detailing and a low-water exterior clean are done where the car is parked, if the building allows it. Machine paint correction and ceramic coating are done at a partner workshop. Interior at your parking
The technician vacuums, steam cleans and treats the seats, carpets, dashboard and door cards in your bay. Allow a few hours for the seats to dry with the windows slightly open.
Paint at the workshop
For polishing and coating the car is collected and worked on indoors, out of sun and dust, under strong lights. It is returned once the coating has set.
Good to know in JBR
Living next to the beach shows on a car. Sand comes in on feet, towels and pushchairs and works deep into the carpet pile. Sea air leaves a salty film on paint and glass, and sunscreen stains leather and plastic if it is left to bake. Many JBR towers do not allow washing with running water in the basement, so on-site work uses steam and low-water methods. Ask your building if you are unsure.

Car detailing: common questions
What is the difference between detailing and a car wash?
A wash removes loose dirt from the surface. Detailing goes further: it lifts bonded contamination from the paint, corrects swirl marks by polishing, deep cleans fabric and leather and protects every surface afterwards. A wash takes minutes. A full detail takes several hours to a couple of days.
Is ceramic coating worth having in Dubai?
It helps, with limits. A ceramic coating adds a hard, slick layer that makes sand, salt and bird droppings easier to wash off and adds some UV resistance. It does not stop stone chips or scratches, and the paint must be polished first, because the coating seals in whatever is underneath.
Can you remove sunscreen stains from the seats and doors?
Usually, if they are treated early. Fresh sunscreen marks come off leather and plastic with the right cleaner. Marks that have baked in the heat for a long time can leave the surface lighter, and those may only improve, not vanish. We tell you which it is after a test spot.
